The VideoIR M series was originally developed to meet the demanding performance requirements of military programs, and as such the series defines the new standard for ruggedness, imaging performance, and advanced features in an uncooled IR camera aimed at the commercial, military and OEM markets.
The VideoIR 640M, is ideal for applications requiring the highest available resolution to meet range and/or pixelon-target requirements.

Advanced feature set
Advanced features such as pixel level synchronization gen-lock and the support of customization boards ensures that the VideoIR M series can be configured to meet specific application requirements. The pixel level synchronization gen-lock design enables the VideoIR M pixel timing to be synchronized to the system clock of third-party hardware.

Open architecture
A MIPS process and WindRiver Vx-Works realtime operating system combine to deliver a powerful standard feature set and provides an open architecture designed to accommodate
application-specific software options.

Felxible form factor
The VideoIR M series of uncooled IR cameras provide a unique degree of configuration giving flexibility for the OEM and integrator. A flex cable between the front-end card and back-end electronics provides the end-user with the flexibility to adjust the camera core layout to meet critical packaging constraints.

Universal optics mounting plate
A universal mounting plate with integral shutter assembly allows the use of the VideoIR Lens range
