The Heat-visionFusion is a dual band visible intensifed imager (Heat-visionNV)
combined with LWIR imaging (Heat-visionIR).
The Heat-visionIR is an 8-12micron LWIR surveillance system for the most
advanced
users. The sensors are uncooled 120 x 160 AlphaSi or 320 x 240 VOX arrays
with
100mm telephoto optics. They are designed for high security intrusion
detection
at military or high security installations. These advanced sensors are
superior
to any other uncooled system currently available and are based on the
latest
Raytheon technology.
This imagery is electronically fused with intensified night vision gated
for daylight operations, and is optionally supplemented by a high resolution
color camera for day applications. The lens system is a 16-160mm optical
zoom allowing for wide to ultra-telephoto imaging.
Heat-visionNV is a digital system providing a resolution of 1024 x 1024
pixels with the option to operate in a video-only mode. The system is
fully compatible with HEAT
fiber-optic transmission for the digital imagery allowing SXGA display
resolution.
HEAT ImageVortex digital acquisition and recording system allowing
for online storage up to 3.3 TerraBytes of data. All Esprit systems can
be
interconnected to
HEAT image processing systems for automated tracking and
detection. These systems are available only to US Military or US Government
users working with Department of Homeland Security.
