COMPACT DESKTOP DIGITAL USB IMAGING SYSTEM FOR ID AND FACIAL BIOMETRIC
APPLICATIONS
The MugScan integrated digital photographic system provides a rugged platform
for desktop ID badge and mug shot portrait applications. The system provides
all image capture capabilities, without the complications of a frame grabber
or external lighting.
Transmission of live preview images and captured high resolution still
image is done via a single USB connection to a laptop or workstation.
In addition to the auto focus capture features, the MugScan assembly includes
an on board strobe light placed in an optimal location to eliminate redeye
and produce vivid high quality images.
Providing one convenient mounting, the MugScan replaces the tangle of
cables and wires that results in a piecemeal-approach to cameras and lighting
systems. The
MugScan attractive packaging provides both a professional appearance and
protection for the sensitive components enclosed inside. The MugScan is
available in custom configurations for a variety of application requirements.
The MugScan is available with either a 3 or 4 mega pixel color camera,
and the software provides for automatic and various custom settings.
